Project Description
The project encompasses comprehensive studies and designs for critical infrastructure elements aimed at optimizing connectivity, safety, and environmental sustainability. Key components include:
- Internal Roads (Primary and Secondary): Design of the main site compound’s internal primary and secondary road networks to facilitate efficient internal traffic flow.
- Access Roads: Permanent access road to Shurayrah Crossing and H5 to Mainland North Jetty, along with interconnecting haul roads within Bridgepoint.
- Entry and Exit Roads: Development of entry and exit routes to individual plots within Bridgepoint for seamless accessibility.
- H5 Junction Connectivity: Construction of connecting roads for the H5 Junction, including fencing for the median to enhance safety and delineation.
- Airport and Barrow Area Access Road: Upgrading, widening, and resurfacing of access roads, ensuring durability and improved usability.
- Lane Deviation: Implementation of northbound and southbound lane deviations as required.
- Traffic Calming Measures: Speed reduction strategies, including road calming on the H5 Road, with a target speed limit of 60 km/h.
- Junction and U-Turn Enhancements: Improvements to existing junctions and U-turns for better traffic flow and safety.
- Wadi Protection: Implementation of dikes for Wadi protection to mitigate flood risks and ensure resilience against natural elements.
- Solar Lighting: Integration of sustainable lighting solutions, such as solar-powered systems, to enhance visibility while reducing environmental impact.
- Culverts (If Required): Potential design and incorporation of culverts to address drainage and water flow needs.
