Project Description

The project is strategically located in the central region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, serving as a vital link to enhance connectivity and support regional development. The proposed corridor of the Northern-Eastern Bypass Road, spanning approximately 120 km, includes the design of four interchanges and multiple crossing bridges. This strategic roadway is located 21 km north of King Khaled International Airport and 45 km from Riyadh city, enhancing connectivity in the region. The corridor links the Riyadh-Qassim Road and Riyadh-Dammam Road, intersecting with key routes such as Gnadrya Road, 5309 (Romhya Road), and Rammah Road, thereby facilitating smoother traffic flow and supporting regional transportation infrastructure

  • Field investigations including Traffic count
  • Traffic Impact Study (TIS)
  • Feasibility study for the various construction and operation alternatives for each of the proposed roads and interchanges according to the expected traffic volumes until the target year (20) years
  • Assessment and Topographic Survey;
  • Hydrological and Geotechnical Studies; – Complete Highway geometric and pavement design;
  • Structural analysis and – complete design of crossing bridges;
  • Quantities survey and Cost Estimate.
  • Flood mitigation and protection works along the roads.
