Project Description
The project is situated in the western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and includes studies and design of the following:
- Connecting 14 radial roads from the central region of Makkah to the border External Affairs
- Connecting 12 roads that connect local plans and connect with a main road.
- Connecting a 70-kilometre-long that previously designed by the Ministry of Transport, which is now being implemented, with a length of 22 kilometers for the main road only.
- Studying 26 interchanges with main roads, a number of U-turns, car crossings, and wadi bridges.
- The length of the Fifth Ring Road will reach 136 kilometers, becoming the longest ring road in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region

- Field investigations including Traffic Assessment and Topographic Survey;
- Hydrological and Geotechnical Studies;
- Completing Highway geometric and pavement design;
- Structural analysis – Completing design of crossing bridges;
- Quantities survey and Cost Estimate.
