This project serves as a crucial transportation route in the region, significantly enhancing the connectivity of Ras Tanura Governorate. By providing an additional entry and exit point to Ras Tanura, it effectively reduces travel time by one hour and establishes vital links to Dammam, Qatif, and King Fahd International Airport, supporting both regional mobility and economic growth. Spanning 15.45 km, the project includes a striking 718.8-meter sea bridge, which forms a key component of the connection between Ras Tanura and Safwa. Additionally, it involves the construction of a bridge at the Safwa roundabout to further enhance traffic flow. The project scope also includes extensive roadworks, lighting installation, and traffic safety measures, all designed to improve the overall efficiency and safety of the route.
